July 10 house shaped atcsJune 26 clay, glue sticks, utee Face moldswell Ive been playing with my face molds, I really love the way the clay ones come out, I also love that you can paint them. I used pearl ex powders on the glue stick molds and the powder stays on pretty well. I used heat set inks on the utee, paints didnt work on the utee but the powders did. All in all I like the clay molds the best. pouring the utee needs to be done in one fast sweep so you dont get lines, it seems to cool fast when pouring. Also using the glue gun I had the same problem I think I need a bigger opening on the gun, so more comes out at once...well heres the photos of them anyways...
June 13 two more bird pinsThese bird pins are fun. I love tering papers and glueing them to mat board cut outs, and stamping with black ink. and then glazing, the glaze makes the colors pop out. I ve gotton my face molds out and I want to play with them. Iam going to do some Clay, Glue, and uttee face molds soon.Just to see the differnces between them. Well later. I came up with this rubber stamp collage idea. so fun, these stamps are perfect for this idea.
rubber stamp collage first stamp and cut out, turn over then collage collage pieces of paper on to shapes then outline in black.add brown sponged on ink. use stamps ,magazine photos ,computer photos, labels, have fun with it.
May 19 more washer necklacesIve been playing with these adding sparkles to the black space on the collages. Trying differnt colored photos.. these are coming out better . Well hopefully Ill get to make a few more pins, also. Ive been thinking of using more childhood photos of family and friends, on the necklaces.
May 13 piarates of carab. WASHER pinswell it was just a matter of time! LOL gotta grt J.D. in here some where.... I cut out photos and glued them in a collage. filled the hole in the washer,with a jem,which I colored silver to match. { The other I added glue to the hole as a filler on the back side.} then did sparkle dots with gel pen, and added clear glaze over all. and now just need to add the pin too it. TAAA DA .. May 11 more washer necklaces!!! Help I cant stop making them ...LOLthese are so fun and eazy. I love the black one its my new favorite. May 09 more washer necklaceslove making these!!! Mixed Media Art Yahoo group updateIt is still lost in space. I have set up a link to an interim group I have set up until it is resolved. It is on top - right column. It is called Mixed Media Art Friends. I lost all the groups I owned. Not sure what is going on. Happened to me twice. Once I did not get anything back and I got it back the second time about a couple of weeks later. All swaps are put on hold until this is resolved. A mail envelope that I painted over it to use agian With metalic paints ,added a paper crow collage too. because they are so fun to make. painted a black tree, with silver sparkle pen accents. Fun , fun,fun! And now I'am on a bird kick. lol

black side is the back side of the crow. I saw this from Jen and thought it was amzing so Iam giving it a try, collaged crows. her crows had wire feet. but now Iam not sure if I will. I am working on a crow addition for my mail envelope. Ill post once its finished. I am painting over used envelopes and decorating them, and mailing them back out.

And look like mini frames so I played with them and took them apart . and I came up with this great idea.
